The Barbara and Steven Grossman Gallery is a state-of-the-art exhibition space that hosts exhibitions of work by artists of international stature as well as work by current students and alumni.
As the main exhibition space for the Museum School, the Gallery undergoes several dramatic transformations each year, hosting a wide array of annual exhibitions: solo or group invitational exhibitions by internationally-recognized artists ("Disponible: A Kind of Mexican Show," "Histories of Now," Jessica Stockholder, Ken Feingold, Esteban Pastorino Diaz, Xenobia Bailey, among others); The Museum School Art Sale; and shows celebrating graduating students and current faculty. During the summer, exhibitions featuring work by Continuing Education students and the SMFA Pre-College Program round out a full calendar year of exciting and challenging shows.
All exhibitions and public programs are free and open to the public.
