W. Van Alan Clark Jr. Library   


The mission of the W. Van Alan Clark Jr. Library is to support the curriculum, research, and creative exploration of students, faculty and staff of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. With more than 21,000 volumes concentrating on all aspects of twentieth and twenty-first century art, the W. Van Alan Clark Jr. Library functions as the core circulating library for the Museum School and as the Museum's contemporary art library.

The Clark Library is the circulating branch of the William Morris Hunt Memorial Library, the main library of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. The Clark Library collection focuses on 20th and 21st century art and features monographs, exhibition catalogs, artists' books, serials, DVDs and electronic databases. The Library is a member of the Fenway Libraries Online (http://endeavor.flo.org) consortium, along with nine other local colleges, providing students access to an expanded collection of over 909,000 books and other materials.

Hours of operation during academic year
Monday–Thursday, 9 am–8 pm
Friday, 9 am–5 pm
Saturday + Sunday, 1–5 pm
