SMFA Medici was founded in 1982 to strengthen financial support for the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. But, somewhere along the way, it grew into something bigger.

SMFA Medici members witness the evolution of contemporary art while supporting the education of creative leaders. With exclusive access to emerging artists and internationally recognized faculty and alumni, members enjoy a stimulating environment where art and culture flourish. SMFA Medici members engage with each other and the dynamic community of the SMFA at special events and also receive a year of benefits which provide access to creative inspiration at both the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and the Museum School.
