On March 20, 2012, the Fenway area became officially recognized as a state-designated cultural district by the Massachusetts Cultural Coucil—the first of five in the Commonwealth and the very first one in Boston. SMFA is so proud to be a part of the vibrant Fenway Cultural District! Congratulations to the invividuals and groups who worked so hard towards this accomplishment.
