SMFA Student to Participate in 2012 Skowhegan Summer Studio Program SMFA is proud to announce that MFA candidate Amy Flaherty has been awarded the Ann and Graham Gund Fellowship to attend the 2012 Skowhegan Summer Studio Program. She is one of just 65 participants selected for the 2012 program from over 2,000 applications. Skowhegan is an intensive nine-week summer residency program for emerging visual artists and seeks each year to bring together a gifted and diverse group of individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to artmaking and inquiry. The program's goal is to create the most stimulating and rigorous environment possible for a concentrated period of artistic creation, interaction and growth. Congratulations Amy!
