SMFA has been fortunate to be the beneficiary of bequests designed to emerging artists. None has been as important or as enduring as the Traveling Fellowships, which were created in 1894 to encourage post-graduate work and travel. Congratulations to the 10 alumni Traveling Fellows who will receive funds to explore and create bodies of new work, then compete for a one-person presentation at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in 2015.
