SMFA Students Exhibiting at UMB's Harbor Gallery "VIDEO-MADE" features five artists who use digital video to create work that 'breaks the fourth wall' into physical space, including SMFA students Jessica Borusky , Maia Dolphin-Krute, Ryan Hawk and Joe Joe Orangias. The exhibition is on view October 1–24 at the Harbor Gallery at UMass Boston.

In the history of media, most technological developments have been viewed retrospectively as an improvement where previous technologies had failed, detriments which were, in most cases, unrealized at the time of their initial development. When the first home PC was put on the market, no one lamented their lack of an iPad, yet today technology and media are such common elements of day to day life that even intangible digital media have entered the realm of 3D, the realm of lived and embodied experiences.
