Ferguson is one of the local artists and organizers for "Al-Mutanabbi Street Starts Here," a series of three shows of international artists' books to be shown at Cambridge City Hall Annex Gallery in January–June 2013. The upcoming international exhibition and related events involve a number of SMFA associated artists, including: faculty members Chantal Zakari and Laura Blacklow; and alumnae Ingrid Sanchez, Margaret Bellafiore, Helga Felleisen, Marcin Elcin and others. Lillian Hsu, the Director of Public Art for the City of Cambridge is also an alumna.
