2008: Georgie Friedman Georgie Friedman (Montague Fund) traveled to Iceland to film some of their diverse natural elements, where she spent an amazing seven days, with almost 24 hours of light every day, gorgeous rare clouds and constantly changing scenery. Several video projects include footage from the Jkulsrln Glacial Iceberg Lagoon, the Strokkur Geyser and the Seljalandsfoss Waterfall.

Her current series of video installations create spaces that call to attention our physicality and our habits of observation. For these works, she projects edited video of natural elements, such as the sky or water, onto existing interior architecture and constructed structures. The content in each video concentrates on the natural light and movement of the particular elements, while the installation of the work alters the standard physical shape, properties, or scale of the represented element
