In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, many of SMFA's friends, families and colleagues along the East Coast—particularly in the New York and New Jersey area—have been left without the basic necessities. Power outages continue, homes remain flooded and uninhabitable, gas remains in short supply and travel is difficult at best. SMFA joins the rest of the nation in hoping for and working toward the safety and well-being of all those who have survived this catastrophic storm.
