Klavens is currently exhibiting at the Photographic Resource Center at Boston University as one of the three artists featured in "The Space in Between" November 15, 2012–January 19, 2013. The Space in Between features artwork that focuses on societal built environments in urban settings. The images capture supposedly empty or vacant scenes in public spaces where humans are present without being pictured. Klavens' color photographs focus on the importance of place and documentation of visual aspects of American culture.
