The Center for Humanities At Tufts invites Museum School students and faculty to a panel Tuesday, October 27, 6:30-8:30 pm at Sophia Gordon Hall, Tufts University.
Chaired by the Museum School's Noit Banai, "Framed: Contemporary Art and the Museum" will explore the hybrid identity of today's art museum in a global context and ask how institutions whose mission steers between building collections, displaying artifacts and supporting transitory art events construct various models of curating, criticism, public participation and national identity.
