"Secret Acts," features four artists who turn private acts into public narrative, examining reality/fiction, ritual/restitution and past/present. Ashley L. Wood grew up in Charleston, South Carolina. She earned her BFA from Clemson University in 2011 and is currently in her thesis year of the MFA program at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Her work incorporates photography, text and sculpturediscussing anxiety and memory as they relate to ideas of right and wrong, morality and the domestic space.
