Laura Beth Reese's photographs are depictions of a world that exists somewhere between reality and non-reality. Inspired by mythology, fairy tales and Renaissance painting, she aims to create images that tell stories of her own fantasies. Through the photographs, Reese offers the audience a glimpse into her alternative reality, with the hope that each viewer will come away with their own ideas of the moments she constructs in her work.
