Everyone has experienced pain. Eugene LaRochelle's work,
What choice do I have?, is an expression of his Pain. It is a manifestation that originated in Korea and continues on here; an exploration of the complicated relationship with his mother and the hereditary rejection passed on through generations.
La Rochelle is an artist from Methuen, MA. His work surrounds the discourse of what it means to be in the third culture. He received his BFA in Photography from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. He currently lives in Boston, MA where he practices.
