Robert Chamberlin MFA Thesis Show "Fill Me Up"
Howard Yezerski Gallery, 460 Harrison Ave, Boston, MA 02118
April 19–30, 2013
Reception April 19, 6–8 pm

In "Fill Me Up," Robert Chamberlin's vases wait ready to face the viewer, ready to be a surface for the projection of their desires. These empty vessels lay waiting to be filled with the projection of our lives measuring time and events.

Born in 1987 to a military family stationed in Landstuhl, Germany, Chamberlin grew up traveling the United States moving from the east coast to the west coast and from the North to the South and back again, which created a unique perspective that is not tied to location, but to experience. He received his BFA in Photography from Georgia State University and has continued his artistic investigations at the School of the Museum of Fine Art Boston and Tufts University for graduate school. Chamberlin is a conceptual artist interested in exploring ideas and creating conversations through the use of different media.
