In Case Hathaway-Zepeda's film,
LB in Memory, the protagonist faces the process of grieving while suspended in a collection of natural landscapes. The work explores the notion that reality continues to distort with each death.
Hathaway-Zepeda will also screen
nightbook in "SMFA Graduate Thesis Film & Video Exhibition" at the Museum of Fine Arts May 16, 7 pm + May 17, 2013, 6 pm. A dream interlude arises from the collision between fantasy and fear. Masked and playing with fire, a figure briefly emerges, shifts, and is extinguished. Did this happen?
