Congratulations to Joan Jonas ('58– '61) who was honored in the lifetime-achievement category at the inaugural First Annual Art Awards, presented by Rob Pruitt. Held at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in association with White Columns, the awards celebrate select individuals, exhibitions and projects that have made a significant impact on the field of contemporary art during the past year.
Nominees in 11 categories were determined by a council of more than four hundred artists and art world professionals. Winners were honored at a ceremony on October 29.
