Welty has been accepted at the
Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts studio program in midtown Manhattan and will have studio space in New York this summer. She will give a talk on Tony Feher, August 1, at the
DeCordova Sculpture Park + Museum (Lincoln, MA) and will be a host of The Living Room at the
Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Boston, Saturday November 9, 2013 from 1–3 pm.
Summer group shows include: "Encounters" at
Beatriz Esguerra Art (Bogota, Columbia) in conjunction with Fotografica Bogota, May 9–June 27, 2013; "ENACT: Art in the Mind," conceptual exhibition inspired by the 1970 Art in the Mind exhibition at
Oberlin College; "Stocked: Contemporary Art from the Grocery Store Aisles" at
Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (Arizona) through September 1, 2013.
