The Massachusetts Cultural Council has named Rydz a 2010 Drawing Fellow and the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston has chosen her as one of the 2010 Foster Prize Finalists. She will be featured in the February/March issue of New American Paintings and will participate in the exhibition "Gracias Por Pensar en Mi" at the Parque Cultural del Caribe, Barranquilla, Colombia from January 28–February 19, 2010.
