Pearlman has been awarded a fellowship to the Ph.D. program in Computational Media and Design at the University of Calgary, Canada with a specialization in Telematic Art, which are collaborations over high speed networks. She will be spending the summer in Beijing and Hong Kong working on the Syneme Summer Institute of Telematic Art setting up a node in Hong Kong with Hong Kong PolyU.
