Billingsley curated the group show "Beyond Purview" at the New Art Center (Newton, MA), which will be on view September 20–October 22. It features drawing, painting, sculpture, video, and installation works. Through these media, the artists investigate altered landscapes: both physical places and psychological ideas. By exploring our physical world, the artists are inspired to question what is and what we actually know of it. Participating artists are Ashley Billingsley, Andrea Evans, James Horgan, Liz Nofziger, Daniel Phillips, Daniela Rivera and Gina Siepel.
There will be a gallery talk on Saturday, October 16, at 2pm.
