Faculty Member Awarded Rome Prize
Congratulations to faculty member Abigail Child who was recently named one of the 2009-10 recipients of the Rome Prize and one of only four visual artists honored.
Presented by the American Academy in Rome, the Prize is awarded annually through an open competition that is juried by leading artists and scholars in 11 fellowship fields. Awardees are provided with a stipend, a studio or study and room and board for a period of up to two years to pursue their projects and research.
