MFA candidate Lisa Gross's thesis project is a campaign to plant 100 heirloom apple trees throughout Boston, bringing together community connections and encouraging civic engagement by creating an urban orchard that crosses a multitude of boundaries. The inaugural event, a ceremonial planting of two apple trees, is on Sunday, April 10, on the Rose Kennedy Greenway.
