Asante unveiled her newest work, Hope Floats, in a solo exhibition at the Bromo Seltzer Art Tower Centennial Celebration (Baltimore) on June 2. Her work is also featured in "Material Girls: Contemporary Black Woman Artists" at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture on view through October 16, 2011.
