Gerstein curated and is exhibiting in a four-person show "Reaching for the Sky: 4 Artists Working with COLOR" at the Hutson Gallery (Provincetown) on view May 20–June 26, 2011. He also wrote an essay on the history of the use of color in connection with this show. A condensed version of this essay was published in the May 19 issue of Provincetwon Magazine and the full version of the essay is available on the Hutson Gallery Website.
One of his large paintings is included in the Danforth Museum's New England Regional Juried exhibition, on view June 11–August 6, 2011.
