The World Premiere of Kleine's film "Before and After Dinner: The Life and Work of André Gregory" will be at Film Forum in New York, where it will begin it's theatrical release with a two week run April 3April 16, 2013. Tickets are on sale now through Film Forum. Kleine and Gregory will do Q and A's after the 7:50 screenings on the 3rd and 5th. The first weekend's box office sales will determine the future life of the film, so attendance of the April 57, 2013 shows is encouraged. Seisler is exhibiting with Liene Bosquê as the collaborative artist team City Souvenirs. In "Constructing the Intangible" at ACRE Projects in Chicago March 317, 2013, the duo invites participants to make casts and impressions of their surroundings. The objects created serve as relics that hold the imprint of a site specifically chosen by each individual while also resonating with an experience familiar to most urban dwellers. The objects are made from clay, which changes physical states during the process of creation, from flexible to delicate to durable.

Lin is exhibiting in the solo show "Mirror Therapy" at Treasure Hill Artist Village Attic Gallery in Taipei March 217, 2013. "Mirror Therapy" is a series of experimental works created during Lin's residency at Treasure Hill. Through sculptures, sound installation, video and performance collaborations, her work questions the contradictions and dependencies generated from the systems we create. Influential ceramist, jeweler and collector Carol Ann Sarkisian (b. December 22, 1936) passed away in Santa Fe after a long illness on January 12, 2013. As part of the Pasadena art scene of the 1960s, she and her husband Paul Sarkisian played important roles in the burgeoning contemporary scene in Los Angeles and started the Aura Gallery along with Richard Pettibone and George Herms. Their close friends at that time included Walter Hopps, Peter Voulkos, Paul Soldner and John Mason.

The U.S. Premiere of Kleine's film "Before and After Dinner: The Life and Work of André Gregory" will be on April 3, 2013 at Film Forum in New York, where it will begin it's theatrical release with a two week run before opening in other U.S. cities. Tickets are on sale now at filmforum.org for those shows. Kleine and Gregory will attend the Friday evening and Sunday evening shows and do Q and A's afterwards. The Canadian premiere of the film will be at The Festival International du Film sur l'Art in Montreal the week of March 14th, and there will be two "Sneak Preview" screenings in Washington D.C. on March 21+22, 2013 at the Networker Family Therapy Conference. The film is being distributed by The Cinema Guild, which is currently working on the poster design and trailer. "Before and After Dinner" received the following praise from Martin Scorsese: "It's really wonderful work. Enlightening, moving, and very much a love story."

AlSaud currently has work included in the exhibition "Light from the Middle East: New Photography" at the Victoria & Albert Museum (London) through April 7, 2013. Work by artists from across the Middle East (spanning North Africa to Central Asia), living in the region and in diaspora, are presented to explore the ways in which these artists investigate the language and techniques of photography. The exhibition is divided into three sections, Recording, Reframing and Resisting, with AlSaud's work appearing in the latter. AlSaud's photographs explore the language of censorship and the malleability of photography. Simonds recently completed a new temporary public art installation commissioned by the City of Cambridge in 2011. Beacon of Color was commissioned by the City of Cambridge to improve this area at the corner of First and Spring Streets, which was damaged by a fire in 2008. Simonds designed Beacon of Color to add visual vibrancy and interest to this busy corner, using acrylic paint on durable board rather than her customary gouache on paper. The paintings bring over 5,000 square feet of rhythm, color and shape to the once dreary façade.

The Hog River Revival Collection by McCarthy and Peter Albano opened Friday, December 7, 2012 and runs thru January 20, 2013. Neumann has several current and upcoming shows and projects. Her new exhibition "Greetings from South Carolina" is opening at the Wyenachtsmarkt weekend (Berlin, Germany) December 1516, 2012. This installation by Neumann done in collaboration with her brother, Cpl Alexander I. Neumann is hosted by INDI Berlin Magazine. Neumann's new book "The Pleasures of Romantic Travel" documents her fictional trips planned with books from Elsewhere Collaborative's collection and her travels around the world as she reads them aloud in parks around the city of Greensboro, North Carolina. In January 2013 Neumann will be hosting "derSonnenaufgang Tours," a limited edition unique experience in Berlin, Germany. The tours are sunrise getaways that will include refreshments, conversation and a photographic postcard souvenir. Neumann's Berlin Calling, a Kickstarter funding initiative, has received 105% funding.

Solorzano is the designer of "Animating Youth! A Room 305 Retrospective," hosted by Mobius (Cambridge, MA) January 1923, 2012. The show is a seven-year retrospective of animated artwork created from 2005 through 2012 by 5th/6th grade students of the Cambridgeport Public Elementary School. Puppets, backdrops and artwork from various animated projects will be on display along with looped screenings of finished animations. Pearlman has written a new book, "Nothing and Everything, the Influence of Buddhism On the American Avant Garde, 1942-1962," that is receiving fantastic reviews. Suzuki as well as those of his most famous student, composer and teacher John Cage, from whose teachings sprouted the art movement Fluxus and the "happenings" of the 1960s.

Artin's watercolors of the Parthenon sculptures known as the Elgin marbles are presented in "The Parthenon Friezes" at Gurari Collections. Artin, a Rome-based artist known for her detailed and academic depictions of the Italian city, figure paintings and still lives, captures the spirit of the Parthenon in her energetic brushstrokes.

Wilson's work is featured in "John Wilson: Eternal Presence," a retrospective of his drawings, paintings, prints and sculpture at the Danforth Museum of Art (Framingham, MA) November 18, 2012March 24, 2013. Wilson studied under Karl Zerbe at the SMFA during the 1940's, and his career has spanned nearly seen decades. He was part of a group that later became known as Boston Expressionists, but Wilson's art cannot be viewed solely through an expressive lens. By considering his work with Léger in Paris, collaborations with the Taller de Grafica Popular in Mexico and finally commemorative portraits of the late Civil Rights leader Martin Luther King, viewers will be able to trace a complex trajectory of the changing artistic and social landscape over the course of the last century.

In tribute to the late Cy Twombly, Gagosian Gallery (New York) presents "The Last Paintings" and a survey of photographs 1954-2011. The exhibition features his last paintings, together with about 100 of his photographs. The eight untitled paintings are closely related to the Camino Real group that inaugurated Gagosian Paris in 2010. The intimate photographs range from early studio images taken in the 1950s to a group of landscapes taken in St Barths in 2011. "The Last Paintings" opened in Los Angeles earlier this year and travelled to Hong Kong and London before coming to New York November 1December 22, 2012.

Richardson is showing recent systematic paintings at the Gallery at Gibbs Library (Washington) July 8 September 1. Richardson, known also as a musician and composer in the midcoast area, was twice Artist in Residence at the Robert M. MacNamara Artist Residency Program on Westport Island. His work was selected for the 2008 Biennial Show at the Center for Maine Contemporary Art and has recently been shown at the Aarhus Gallery in Belfast. The concepts behind this work, with roots dating back to graduate school at the University of Hartford, were revisited by Richardson during the MacNamara residency and vigorously pursued in his studio during the past three years. Zolli recently completed three large painted history murals for the U.S Dept. of the Interior, National Park Service. They are located in the new Visitor Center of San Francisco Maritime National Park, California, and depict events in San Francisco history including: the natural splendor of the Crissy Field marshes of 1790, the 'Forest of Masts' during the Gold Rush of 1850 and the great Chinese immigrations of the 1890's. These permanent murals are part of a larger exhibit on S.F. maritime history opening to the public in August 2010.

Parkins (NYC-based sound/installation artist, composer and interactive electronics performer) was the subject of an article by David Stubbs in the August 2009 issue of The Wire. Also in 2009, Important Records released Andrea's most recent CD (broken orbit), a through-composed work for amplified objects, acccordion-driven feedback and processed instruments, based on Andrea's site-specific 10-channel installation commissioned by NYC's Diapason gallery for sound. She was also commissioned in 2009 to compose a live score and create sound design for "We Are Going to Miss Everything We Don't Need" by award-winning Portuguese choreographer Vera Mantero. The work premiered in France in July 2009 at the international contemporary dance festival, MontpellierDanse.

The Boston Art Commission has approved of Kornfeld's sculpture Reach to be installed in Mozart Park in Boston, MA. The 25-foot high work will be fabricated from 8 inch square stainless steel tube and will be mounted on a reinforced concrete base. The arm and hand reaching up symbolizes the striving by immigrants for a better life in America. The installation and dedication of the work is expected in April or May 2010.

She wanders through Nodar, stopping at different points to draw, mark and incise stones according to the specific conditions at each sitetracing the rays of sun or the shadow of a plant, completing the hint of a face, adding grafitti, inscribing the roadside slabs.

has been named winner of the 2009 Nationalgalerie Prize for Young Art, recognizing a rising artist based in Germany. Fast was awarded the 50,000 prize from a group of four finalists whose works arte on view at the Hamburger Bahnhof, Museum for Contemporary Art through January 3, 2010. He is also exhibiting at Lunds konsthall (Sweden) September 19-November 15, 2009.
