Off-campus Housing

Off-campus Living

SMFA students live off campus in Boston's diverse and interesting neighborhoods. Our Student Affairs Office provides current listings of available apartments, roommates, realtors and alternative accommodations; plus office resources to support your search, including telephones, Internet access and bulletin boards.

SMFA hosts special housing events before the beginning of each semester. Staff members orient students to Boston and match students with roommates and realtors. You'll find these events helpful as you explore America's best college town. You will find information below about accommodations for your stay in Boston at this time. If you plan to live off campus, you should start your housing search three to four months before the fall semester and two months before the spring semester.

Visit ProArts Connect's housing section for a bulletin board of available roommates and housing opportunities.
