Welcome New Students and Families
New Student Orientation is an exciting opportunity for incoming students to get to know their new classmates, faculty, staff and new surroundings. We eagerly await your arrival and are looking forward to welcoming all new students into SMFA and the larger Boston community. For all new students, Orientation is a mandatory program, and certainly something you will not want to miss.
Day One of Orientation begins the afternoon of September 1. Day Two of Orientation is all day on September 2.
Move-in to our SMFA housing is the morning September 1. Please contact Holly Gould, Assistant Director of Housing at hgould@smfa.edu to schedule your arrival. If you are planning to live off-campus, your move-in date will be at the discretion of your landlord.
