SMFA also offers Continuing Education programs for fall, spring, and summer sessions, including a certificate in Graphic Design. SMFA's certificate programs are accredited through NASAD, the National Association of Schools of Art and Design.

For those interested in studying art before they reach the college age, SMFA offers a Pre-College Summer Studio for students 16 years or older.
