About:
Michelle Lopez's recent work utilizes the forms of and language of transportation (the car, the boat) and traditional materials (leather) to transform the every day object into a fresh and evocative new form. She has shown at Feature Inc. and at Deitch Projects in New York, and was a recipient of a MacDowell Colony Fellowship.
