In cooperation with the Department of Art and Art History at Tufts University, SMFA offers a broad range of studio art courses to Tufts University students.
Studio art courses taught at Tufts University's Medford campus include drawing, painting, calligraphy, photography, sculpture, and various types of design.
SMFA offers expanded course offerings in the above areas, as well as ceramics, sculpture, animation, video, metals, and printmaking. Courses are taught on weekdays, evenings, and Saturdays at SMFA. These courses are labeled with an FAMB course prefix.
Credit value conversion: 2.00 SMFA credits = 0.5 Tufts credits
4.00 SMFA credits = 1.0 Tufts credits

Students must register for FAM or FAMB studio courses through the Tufts student registration system.
