For 137 years, philanthropists have supported SMFA with charitable gifts large and small. The continued commitment of alumni, parents and friends is vital to every new generation of students and creative leaders. As is the case at most colleges and universities, tuition does not cover the full cost of an SMFA education and we rely on annual gifts and endowments (established by donors over the years) to balance our annual budget. This generous support assures a student's ability to attend the School, it supports the faculty who teach them and it improves the quality of their experience. We are educating students to succeed in a seamlessly connected world and to thrive in the creative endeavors they choose; we need financial support to make that happen.
