The Medici Group was founded in 1982 to strengthen financial support for the Museum School. Medici Group members support the unique pedagogy of the School by working to encourage future and current artists to develop their talents, explore boundaries and understand the art world of today. Each year, contributions to the Medici Group support financial aid, special programs, visiting artists, facility and technology enhancements and other critical initiatives.

As a Medici Group member, you will have the exclusive opportunity to become an integral part of the Museum School community. In so doing, you can witness the evolution of contemporary art by connecting with students and emerging, not yet discovered, artists.

In addition to invitations to behind-the-scenes events, where you can directly observe how the internationally renowned SMFA faculty and alumni influence contemporary art, you will also receive discounts on Continuing Education classes and priority access to popular annual events like the InsideOut Art Sale. You can give at one of three annual levels or may choose to become a Medici Scholarship donor and sponsor an individual student over multiple years.

Vermillion Member—$1,500–$2,999
Titanium Member—$3,000 and above
Medici Scholarship Program—3-year pledge of $5,000 or more
