The SMFA's W. Van Alan Clark, Jr. Library is the circulating branch of the Museum of Fine Art's William Morris Hunt Memorial Library. The SMFA Library's collection focuses on contemporary art and studio practice. The library is a member of the Fenway Libraries Online consortium, along with nine other local academic libraries, giving students access to an expanded collection of over 909,000 books and other materials. The MFA libraries subscribe to a suite of electronic resources, including Art Index, Design and Applied Arts Index, Oxford Art, and JSTOR. The SMFA's Visual Resources is located within the SMFA Library.
