SMFA's Visual Resources offers a comprehensive digital image collection and associated services.
Within Visual Resources' Digital Image Collection, faculty and students will find a growing collection of images of artists' books, collages, installations, mixed media pieces, paintings, performances, photographs, sculpture, prints and drawings.
In addition, SMFA subscribes to ARTstor, a nonprofit digital library of more than 1.4 million images in the arts, architecture, humanities and social sciences.
Visual Resources staff members are available for digital research guidance and tutorials in ARTstor, CAMIO and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston's public digital image collection. Visual Resources also offers digital photography services to SMFA faculty and staff. The requested images may be included in the Digital Image Collection.
